So I leave tomorrow for my trip to Greece. We're going to Athens for just over a week. It's is my Yule/Christmas/Birthday/Aniversary gift from my partner, and I have to admit I'm really starting to get excited.
Yes, there is an incredibly long plane ride to look forward to. Yes, we have to be at the airport at something like 4 in the morning. But, you know, GREECE.
Needless to say, I will most likely be away from the internet during this time. I will try to try to post pics and such when I get back, but anyone who's been waiting for the pics from Rome knows the likelihood of that. (In my defense, I did have a page started, three actually, one for each 'type' of pic in Rome - it was deleted with the rest of my page by the evil hacker and I have not yet gotten around to creating a new one.)
So now I have to get through what promises to be a very long day at work, go home, finish that whole 'packing' thing, drop off the car, and try to get some sleep so I can be coherent way too early in the morning tomorrow. And I kinda want to finish a story somewhere in there as well.
But, you know, GREECE.
Ooh, BTW, does anyone know if they sell travel sized sun block at the airport? I can't find any anywhere and I tend to burn just walking to the car...
