Fire Bad

My friend and coven brother emailed to say the fires in CA are now close enough to his house that he and his family have been evacuated.  Knowing that they are safe, the first thing that came to mind:  Only he would be hit by the group known as the Witch Fires (they are near Witch Creek).  

Does this make me a bad person?
