Bought a little case for the little ASUS laptop E got me - just a little zip up thing to protect it in my bag I take everywhere. The day I got it, I unpacked the bag from the store and put it on the bed and left for a moment. Within a five minute time span, the dog grabbed and and brought it downstairs to the couch. E found it and put in on the steps to go back upstairs, where the dog grabbed it from again.
I had never gotten the chance to use it yet, it still had the tag on it, and I couldn't return it because it was covered in dog slobber and teeth marks.
Since I had paid for it and there were no holes, I used it anyway for about the past week. When we went out Friday night, I took the laptop and case out of my bag so I didn't have to tote it around. It was put on the desk next to the computer downstairs, where it also stayed yesterday.
E woke up last night hearing something... off. The dog, who was not in his kennel (we're trying to train him to be okay out of it at night) had taken the case with the laptop in it down from the desk and over towards his kennel. It is once again filthy, with new teeth marks, and I'm currently both testing out the laptop within and thanking the deity of choice for solid state hard drives.
Why he is convinced a padded fabric zip case is his new bestest toy in the world I have no idea, but I'm getting tired of it, not to mention grossed out.
Grrr... Argh...
