On your mark...

Let's start a month of much writing, little sleep, and trying not to physically harm two over-tired children that have already harmed each other, all in the pursuit of reaching 50,000 words!

Up North Der, Ya...

We went up North for Samhain again this year, and managed to get a few good pics.

There's a place probably about another 50-60 miles north of Duluth called Caribou Falls. Blink and you'll miss the turn off for it and even then, you'll probably think it's just a little wayside parking lot. Take the chance and hike the trail - you won't regret it. Truly beautiful and, more than likely because no one really finds the place, the little critters are completely and totally not afraid of you.
