To those that celebrate, Happy Christmas! To those that don't, Happy End of December!
Just finished Christmas dinner/gift exchange at my aunt's, and am safely back home once more.![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
wolfie74's mom is staying the night here instead of going home only to brave the roads again in the morning. We got dumped with snow since last night, and it's still coming down, with warnings in the north part of the state that, to quote one news station, "driving past midnight tonight would be suicidal". So she's here, the boys are here, wolfie74 is here, the cats and dog are here, and so am I. :)
And, because it's one of my favorite "holiday" songs of all time, I give you Dar Williams' "The Christians and the Pagans": ( Behind the cut to save some room )
At one point, I had this whole article I wrote for the WiCoM Newsletter about the song and meanings and such, but bugger if I can find it now...
