I love the actress, and love that they are finally going to have an openly gay character. Unfortunately, these writers just seem to not know how to handle anything with the barest hint of sensitivity. I had a feeling they were going to blow it, and this kinda serves as evidence. Then again, considering what they've done to straight relationships in the past, should we have expected more when they finally got around to the gays?
