Giving credit where credit is due here...
Been having some awful headaches the past few days, ranging between "OMG, kill me now" and "WTF is this pain?" Nothing has put much of a dent in them and even the strongest dose of painkillers just numbed them for a bit.
My partner (the one who works a the hippy-go-lucky co-op but believes in things like meat and pharmaceuticals) did some reading and had me try something that actually worked. I have awful circulation, and she's been having me drink warm honey water the past few nights because that's supposed to be good for that. Last night, she added some raw ginger to the mix. Not the world's most tastiest drink, but downable. Passed out for an hour or two and when I woke up there was nearly no pain. I was in awe.
Flash forward to the morning, and a hint of it has returned, but mainly just sinus pressure from my allergies.
So, credit where credit is due, I do believe her homeopathic cure really and truly helped.
She's downstairs right now making pancakes and bacon for the fam for breakfast on a weekday - gotta love her for that too. *g*

yep, traditional medicine can work wonders sometimes when you least expect it. I remember having a muscle cold from airconditioning in a bus, and scoffing at my mum's offer of homemade balsam remedy, and then feeling in awe when it worked.
