I'm really liking this Arthur and his warm, friendly relationship with Merlin is lovely. That bit getting the tortoise out of the rain was a real bonding moment. Getting let into Merlin's life, Arthur's proving not to be the man Will and Lance assumed he was.

I'm also enjoying Merlin the competent PA. He's streamlined Arthur's work life and he's interested in the volunteer and charity opportunities at Camelot. Both men are warm and open, even though Arthur's a bit buttoned down and living a life dictated by Uther. It's an intriguing set up and an entertaining start.
