I don't get it...

Is this supposed to be demoralizing? Less "masculine"? I get that it's an awful color, but the reasoning behind it could be borderline discriminatory (to say the least). Not to mention that, if it is to be humiliating, just what kind of stereotypes it is reinforcing...
