Who knew?
Who knew that simply watching your kids play chess for something like eight hours could be so tiring... Or was that the playing hall monitor for something like 100+ kids?
There was some confusion with the rankings, but eventually it was determined that our youngest was ranked 3rd for his age group and our eldest was ranked 4th for his in the city-wide tournament, so that was kinda neat.
Er, is this the place I admit I know nothing about chess? I did manage to get a lot written for a new story though, so does that count?
And, before you ask, yes, my children are geeks, and yes, they take after their parents. :)
