Been having a bit of a writing slump, which I broke via mainlining episodes of Criminal Minds and poking at fanfic for the first time in ages. Don't get me wrong, it is a blessing to have 3 separate things published this year, but I also have some stuff that needs editing and things like actually finishing them that have been sitting on the back burner for a while while real life got in the way. This, at least, got me back into thinking about words again, so it totally counts as a win.

comments

Haven’t posted here for… a while. With Twitter issues and everything else, figured I would sign in again and poke it with a stick.

Life updates:

The adorable kitty you see in this icon is still alive and kicking. She’s 19, mostly deaf, and mostly senile, but has turned into a cuddle monster. A randomly screaming cuddle monster trying to hear herself again, but a cuddle monster.

Work exploded, then imploded, then I got switched to a different department with very little warning. Learning curve has been interesting. Job less so, but I keep my tenure, PTO, and benefits so…

Got published! Twice! Two short stories under a pen name I am not sharing here. If you know me in real life, I’ve prob already told you because I was bouncing off the walls with excitement.

The rest is random health issues and stress from being one of the department heads for a local con, so I won’t bore anyone with that. If anyone is still around and reading, that is. 😽

comments
