Okay, remember when I wanted to do some research on Minnesota for that Jack O'Neill 'fic I was writing? We hit a number of "touristy" spots: took in sailing lessons on Lake Harriet, posed for photos in front of the Spoonbridge (including that shot where we tried to make it look like we were eating the giant cherry!), went on a marathon shopping spree at the Mall of America...

...and then we wound up puking out our guts after eating some bad chicken at one of the Vietnamese restaurants. But it was fun otherwise!

Don't forget, part of that spree was trying to erase the horrible images from our minds from venturing across from the Cherry over to Loring Park during Pride, where Bush, Chenney, and McCain were trying to sneak undercover as Dorothy, Toto, and the Tin Man (though the Secret Service agents dressed as Munchkins is an image I'll always treasure...).

Ah, yes... the need for brain-fuzzing cocktails sent us over to Eat Street, thus introducing us to a variety of cultural offerings and slightly-undercooked chicken...

The Munchkins though... priceless!
