The NaNoWriMo Affair
It appears this is now a family affair.
My partner was debating signing up as she wanted to write a young adult's type book for boys. She said there are so many for girls out there now, which is great because we had so few when we were little, but almost none written directly for boys.
Also, Youngest has signed up for the Young Writers program. He wishes to write a story about the game he is playing and believes it should be possible to write what I believe was 20,000 (don't quote me) words about it in a month's time. He is extremely creative, if he can focus enough to do it. Even if he tries and doesn't finish, the fact he tried is pretty cool.
Yes, I'm probably going to get him the kids' shirt.
We are going up north this weekend to just outside of Duluth. E and I will have our laptops, and he will have his Alphasmart. I'll let you know how it all turns out.
