Up in the land of ice and snow...
It's about 1:30 in the morning and about 3 degrees above zero (F) out right now, not counting the windchill from what we can hear howling outside our windows. Outside looks like the frozen tundra, and there is the faint sound of plows and sanders on the streets.
I say faint because you can barely hear them over the drunken college students outside, shouting at the wind. I almost want to call the cops - not because they are violating the noise ordinance, but because they seriously have to be a danger to themselves at this point. There's drinking and doing stupid things, and then there's doing permanent damage to yourself via extreme stupidity - guess which one they are at?
