Pagan Children, Attack!
'Tis Yule again, please pardon the increasingly incoherent posts as the night wears on.
We celebrate both Yule and Christmas, the latter mainly with the larger family and the former more privately. The boys put up the tree this afternoon, complete with ornaments, reminding us why we usually supervise. E helped with the tree, but the ornaments were more solely them. They are pretty much just on the front, and all at roughly one level. As Eldest said, our cat Ghost is just going to knock them all down anyway. :)
Eldest was setting up the Nativity scene from E's family in Columbia. His commentary included, "They are all lined up to pray for something, but they're not sure what yet," and "I think they're coming to sacrifice the animals," and "Crap! I just knocked the High Priest over!" Needless to say, the Nativity had all the human figures approaching and kneeling before the animals before he reluctantly added the baby in the manger.
Going to go munch on some Krumkake now...
