So, at E's behest, I now have Twitter. Anyone know how to hook it up to LJ?

Oh, I'm still cat_77 on there as well in case anyone is interested. I'm also confused, but that should not be interesting, but rather expected...

Edit: I think I have it hooked via Loud Twitter but won't know for certain until the time thingy rolls around.

What's "Twitter" (other than that annoying noise birdies make too-damn-early when you're camping & trying to sleep past dawn ), and why should we want it?

I think Twitter (http://twitter.com) was designed for either people with ADD or people obsessed with texting. Basically, you sign up and can post short little things of like 160 characters long about what you happen to be doing. I've been following the David Hewlett one on my friend's list for a while because he tends to be funny, but there's all sort of people, famous and not, hooked in - supposedly.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with it, to be honest, but E signed up and wanted me to and I think it has something to do with the new phones with unlimited texting? Possibly? that she ordered.

I don't really, either. E signed up for it and signed up for a plan for her phone that's got unlimited texting, and asked that I get Twitter as well. No idea if I'll use it - I'm kind of addicted to LJ.
