I have new glasses! They fit and are the right prescription and aren't bent or scratched or snapping in two or anything!
While picking them up, there was a young albino boy getting a pair fitted, looking around in wonder and glee before turning to his mom with a huge smile. The person helping them smiled and asked, "You can see, can't you?" and he nodded so enthusiastically that his new glasses nearly fell off. Very sweet.
There was another girl about the same age there with her mom, peeking around the corner at him. Their conversation went something like:
Mom: Yes, he's about your age.
Girl: So...
Mom: No, you cannot peroxide your hair.
Girl: *Pout*
Good ending to a long day.
