Fringe!

So E and I (and the boys) were talking during the commercial breaks of this week's episode and have a couple ideas related to the Mysterious William Bell.

1) He's using technology to stay alive.

2) He's actually in the other universe and communicating with this one via his technology.

3) A combination thereof.

You knew Walter's involvement was going to be found out. Just like you knew he felt extreme guilt about it. The next question is, now that he's run off with the Observer, will people think he's run away because he was found out, that he's hiding because of guilt, or that he was taken because of how much he knows? Please notice he made sure to leave the manifesto out in the open where everyone could find it.

Other nice touches this week included the Krispy Kritter having the same cereal in her cupboard that Walter likes, along with sharing Olivia's taste in the grayscale (is it a way of showing Walter's influence on them, or just that they share common bonds?), Peter getting to show that he has a bit of the made scientist in him as well, and Walter in teacher mode. Really, any time Walter is in teacher mode can be considered a win.

Yes, the Star Trek and Spock references were extremely heavy-handed this week. Doesn't mean they weren't funny though. *g*

In short, Fringe still rocks like a rocking thing and I'm looking forward not only to the next episode, but the next season of episodes now that it's been officially renewed.
