Forecast was 90*F + today, with thunderstorms this afternoon. Storms moved back to maybe tomorrow, and the flashing sign on the TCF building downtown read 100*F on the ride home. So glad I picked up an iced coffee for the drive (40 + minutes in stop and go traffic with pretty much no shade and only like two hours of sleep - yeah, good choice!).
E's convinced it will be the same as last year where the heat of the city forms a bubble and drives off the storms until we have a drought. Probably likely, especially with how screwy things have been so far. Would love for a good rain though.
Did I mention we have no AC at home? Did I mention I should probably shut down the computer? Did I mention I might already be sunburned, through the glass of the car? Did I mention it's really fricken warm? And bright?
Yeah.
