So, today is technically the last day of the boys' winter break. We have not seen them in a week while they have been split between grandparents. Though the food budget has rejoiced, I fear the aftermath of breakdowns and fits, especially since they both have school tomorrow.
You'd think a week off would mean a lot of writing. Er, not-so-much. I kinda sorta got writer's block. Probably from writing so much in the lead up to the holidays? IDK.
Anyway, I have several things that I have started and stopped, and have no idea what to work on, even if I could concentrate enough to try.
Merlin:
1) Rewrite of Freya's episode, but with the OT4 helping her out.
2) The one with Merlin traveling back and forth between two realms, this one and one where magic is not banned and so life is little more than a little different.
3) Merlin is turned into a girl, but can't talk due to injuries and there may or may not be a sorceress still after Arthur. Morgana is just excited to have a life-sized dress-up doll.
4) Modern AU with the prince staying out on the streets to better understand the homeless problem, only to get caught up in a certain social worker's protectiveness, much to his guards' amusement. (Yes, I finally started this one.)
5) For the love of the deity of your choice, let me finish the SGA crossover.
Sherlock:
1) Sherlock is shot, John has to argue with Mycroft to get him to safety, and they both end up in a safe house that's not as safe as originally intended.
2) The next part of the "John is knocked up by Moriarty" farce. That I mainly want to write solely for the line, "One does not typically dip one's spanikopita into one's soy sauce, John."
Leverage:
1) One that is currently titled, "Parker is bored."
2) One where Parker is still high on the anti-depressants and wants the rest of her OT3 to feel the love.
So now I sit here and contemplate and make no actual progress while Iguzzle sip at hot chocolate and wonder if the laundry can learn to do itself. At least
camelot_fleet is sorting out when to do another Finish-a-thon? That should help, right?
