So, I never found a better screencap and time is running out. I would love for the image to be a bit clearer, but have cleaned it up as much as I could. The wonderful sidhex3 is to credit for the original, and apparently fought with the poor quality Season One DVDs to get it.

Enough with the stalling, here's my bad sense of humor at play...

i went looking for a better quality pic, but sadly, we don't get anymore scenes of duncan half-naked with his sword (some half-naked, but no sword). nicely done though! :D

You should have seen the emails between threnodyjones and me about some of the suggestions. Wish I knew coding better to get some of them to work (like Amanda claiming the front of Methos gets the back and a debate between then agreeing to share). In the end, it was kept simple, which was probably for the best. *g*

Poor Highlander. Forever a fandom stuck on the cusp of being online, but without much in the way of images, because we didn't have the bandwidth for HQ back in the day. Not to mention TPTB did poor quality DVD copies so we can't fix it now. [pout]

they're releasing blu-ray's of season 1 this month....*crosses fingers* hopefully they've improved the quality to justify the effort. :)

It's a fandom TPTB didn't know what to do with. Everything was changing and they wanted to stay with the time, but really and truly didn't know how. *sigh* Still fun to play with though. *g*

There were several shows out around that time where TPTB were just figuring out fandom existed, much less what we do, and the poor dears were ever so confused.

Then add in the change in video prices that allowed for fans to buy TV shows by the season, then the change to DVD, and they were extremely confused by what was going on in the industry.

sidhex3 just posted some season 2 caps that are a bit higer quality, but I needed to get this in before the deadline. Besides, I'm kinda not minding the half-naked sword fondling... ;)
