There are some very very very awful people in this world. Anything involving mistreatment or cruelty to animals is guaranteed to up my blood pressure and make me seriously advocate a biblical "eye for an eye", have-done-unto-you-what-you-did-to-some-living-creature system of punishment.
i agree with that form of punisment. we had an outdoor cat that got hit by an ATV (we knew that was the case because every time a loud one would go by he'd run & go pee) & we hoped that the SOB that did it would get run over by one.
One of the things I have absolutely zero tolerance for, one of the things that tears me into an insane, ancient-Greek-vengeance mood is cruelty to animals. It disgusts me how so many humans think that animals are just...things. Like they're toys or objects or whatever, like they don't have feelings and thoughts of their own. It's no wonder that most psychopaths and serial killers begin their careers by torturing small animals as a child.
Of course, I read this after reading a story about a daycare that was a front for a dog-fighting ring...accompanied by commenters who think Michael Vick paid his debt to society, so stop bringing him up.
Whoever did this needs to be wrapped (naked) head-to-toe in duct tape, then covered in catnip and thrown to a horde of feral cats. The kind with all their claws intact.
