Fair Day

Spent large majority of day at the Minnesota State Fair.  

Did not stick at all to plan of big breakfast and then buying the gallon-sized bucket of chocolate chip cookies and sitting in front of the milk booth (all you can drink for 50 cents). 

Two things that must be mentioned:  
- Grilled Chocolate Sandwich
- Mocha on a Stick

Sucks that it's a dollar now doesn't it.

Where did you find the grilled chocolate sandwich and the mocha on a stick? My chocolate radar must have been on hiatus. Darn it.

The egg rolls in the International Market (Emporium building) are excellent though.

The grilled chocolate sandwich was at Moe & Joe's coffee shop on the far side of the "Miracle of Life" barn (and yes, I so have to use that in a fic). The Mocha on a stick was at this half country - half ice cream place across from the Marines' booth.

International Market is the place to go if you want something slightly less deep fat fried - I had the wild rice burger and it was fantastic.

Deep fat fried twinkies taste like benieghs. Nummy! :)
