Merlin - Dreams
Got a bit inspired this weekend. Maybe it was the episode or maybe it was just a mood. Here's one, there's another at beta. This one is only a double drabble, the other is a little longer.

Synopsis: Morgana dreams.

Morgana dreams. They are not prophetic, she does not see the future or what fate lies in wait for those she holds dear. They are merely what she wishes the future to be, what she would create if she were given the power to shape what is and what will be.
She stands on a field, magic coursing through her, the elements themselves at her command. Men attack and men fall at her feet with barely a thought, Nature protecting its own. They never touch her, but she feels each one as they bleed out, as they join the force that surrounds them all. They feed Nature just as surely as Nature feeds her.
She gazes across to another, feels the power that he holds within, watches as his eyes shine to match her own. She offers out her hand and, with a smile, he accepts, their magic joining as one, shaping as one, creating as one all that will ever be.
“This isn’t real,” he tells her.
“It could be,” she replies.
He smiles again and shakes his head, steps away before fading into the black that now surrounds her.
When she wakes, she longs for sleep once more.
