I just got to utter the words to my son, "This is why mommy is going to hell."  Is this a bad thing?

My partner is taking great joy in scaring the crap out of our over-tired son after watching a show he found a bit too intense.  Among other things, she is telling him to get ready for bed, but "don't let the hooded men get you!"  

I'm sure I'm not encouraging her in any way...

It was his brother's turn tonight. He didn't get to see the show while at Daddy's, so he watched it tonight (with the giggling warning from his brother who would not tell him just which scene it was). He was really pissed at me for "scaring the crap" out of him, until I pointed out I was not as bad as his mother. He asked how bad his mother would have been and I told him, "She wanted you to scream like a little girl." He smiled and said, "Thank you, Amma."
