Writer's Block: Roommate from Hell
[Error: unknown template qotd]
[I could not resist this one.]
Sophmore year of college had a roommate who, amongst other things, cranked up the heat in winter to the 80's so she would not need a blanket, blew her nose in the sink every morning - loudly, listened to her stereo on top volume to fall asleep, borrowed things without asking, and removed a sign from my computer that said "Please Do Not Use" to hack in and change the password by accident and then forget what she canged the password to. This is not including saying a friend who committed suicide "probably deserved it".
I moved out (with friends helping me move in about... yeah, that long) and she smeared black stuff all over the walls and claimed I did it so I would need to clean it or have disciplinary action at the dorms.
Needless to say, we did not play well together and, no, we did not resolve our differences. *g*

If she was not asleep or blowing her nose or at class, she was on the phone. Eventually I told her she was a bit distracting when I was trying to study so could she either go the few blocks to said friend's house, or talk out in the hallway like other people did? She started talking in the hallway and other people in the wing started tripping over her because she was out there so much. One girl commented to me that (possibly due to the volume of the calls) she now knew more about Roommate's family than her own.
