Kitty Go Boom!

I'll preface this with the fact I have had a killer headache since I got up this morning and disclaim the fact this may be influencing the attitude.

I got into work this morning to find a list of accounts on my desk with a little post-it note disclaiming "You have a lot of work to do."  Well no shit, Sherlock.  The list contains accounts that we need to try to "save" from being charged off and, as a coworker pointed out, only really matters if you are not doing your job already.  I work each and every one of my accounts as they come up, do what I can on them, and move on.  Pesky little things like state laws and the need for court orders may prevent me from completing them in the fashion desired and timeline desired.

I currently have 415 accounts in my queue.  The ideal number of accounts for someone in my position is 225 and I know there are those with 200 or less as I have seen the routes.  I work them as I can, but physically cannot make the courts work faster or the trustees post the needed information before they do.  It's a thing.  So yes, my list of potential charged off accounts is nearly twice as long as others on my team, but I have twice the work, dumbass.  You might also want to note that I am completing these accounts each and every day without assistance from others, while answering questions from both coworkers and customers on coworkers' accounts.  Nearly every other person on my "team" save one is getting assistance from you, our boss, on a daily basis as you go in and work their accounts for them, even though they have less than me and even though they are still not able to complete their routes daily.

Have you thought about hiring more people?  Have you thought about hiring people who may actually know how to do their job?

In summation, shut the fuck up and back off.

He says the issue is "under review" but my question is why is it taking more than 2 months of review when another area realized they had someone with 390 and realigned immediately to make sure everyone was equal? Then again, why do the people with only 200-some accounts need daily assistance and still aren't finishing?

I do believe these are two questions that won't be answered any time soon.
