It's a Day
So, I'm reading through a couple of sites this weekend and, yes, today (it was at lunch, I swear!) and found some seriously disturbing rumors about Atlantis and a possibly not-so-distubing reasoning behind some of it.
One of the Evil M's released on his blog the info that Teyla will be pregnant next season. I thought it was just a bad rumor until someone showed pics from a recent convention and yes, RL is pretty visably pregnant in real life. While this opens up a lot of interesting possibilities, you know the writers will screw it up.
They could go dark with it and have some cool angsty storylines to deal with. They could go humorous and have some near slap-stick Teyla with cravings and still beating the crap out of everyone a la Xena storylines (what? Rodney calls her that already...). Somehow though, I just picture the writers using it as an excuse to weaken the strongest remaining female on the show (and really, the only remaining female on the show after reducing Weir to reoccurring next season) in time for SuperSam to come in and just be that much more awesome than the established characters on the show could ever be.
Sigh.
Maybe fan fic will fix it?
