My partner had a surprise for me when I got home on Friday night: we were going up north to a cabin in just outside of Duluth. It was beautiful. It was peaceful. It was a chance to write with no distractions.

So, of course, I got writer's block.

On the upside, it was friken gorgeous. Here's a handful of pics of what it was like:

And yet, I had writer's block...

Beautiful - but it makes me want to stand in front of a crackling fire and wrap my self around a hot chocolate. :)

Oh yeah, the nice heated cabin with the fireplace and pillow-top mattress was greatly appreciated, :)
