Pointless Progress Post

This little sucker should show up whenever the NaNoWriMo site a) works, and b) updates. Right now, it's showing what the cache last saved as, but should update to the real amount in a little bit (5725 as of about 9 pm).

In other bits, I'm looking for a few good curses for Miri to use. She swears just like us(well, if we were sailors), but is also part of Matriarchal society with more than a tiny bit of mysticism in their everyday life (yes, drag_on_king and threnodyjones, I know that's an understatement).

So far, I have as her usual favorites:
~ [usual English swear words in damn near every combination]
~ Sweet and Holy Mother
~ Great Goddesses [used as "Great Goddesses, what the fuck were you thinking?]
~ Air above, water below, and screwed in the middle

They don't have to be Goddess-based or anything. She's just kind of has a mouth on her and would be prone to ask things like, "We're you damaged as a child and no one noticed because you finally fit in with the rest of the clan?"

I'm only up to about 3,000 words. I'm a day behind already. This is not good.

I probably could have reached 6K last night, but was too damn tired and too damned stressed to do so. The next scene is this whole sequence that I can break into two parts, but probably would have done all at once last night, making it so I didn't get to bed until after midnight at the latest.

You still have more than enough time to come back from it. Goal yesterday was about 5K, you're at 3K - one good push should bring you back, but it involves that whole pesky time thing.
