So, apparently the email server has been down since 9 this morning. Site's up, email's down. threnodyjones, I know I say this rarely, but you were right. *g*

Anyone trying to get a hold of me for any reason (of which I can think of none), can either use the usual back up means, or wait if it's not life-threateningly important.

Conversations

My son has long hair. He is 11 and it more than occasionally tangles. He asked me to brush it for him tonight because he was having some issues. This was our conversation:

Me: Honey, in the winter our hair gets into tangles more. There's a whole huge scientific explanation involving the cold and ions and static, but basically, it gets in knots.

Him: How do you take care of it?

Me: There's a reason we put a brush in your bag for school.

Him: Okay, I'll try to remember to put it in my locker for after swimming.

Me: You don't brush your hair after swimming?!?

Him: Er, am I supposed to?

I do believe we have discovered the source of the knots...
