Sunday

Just spent the last hour fighting with iTunes and shouting such things as "Why? Why can't I order my Metallica songs when you let me order my Nelly Furtado songs? Give me a reason!"

Also, for some reason, updating iTunes has shorted out my email. IDEK.

On the up side, I have access to our music server again, so there's that.

On the even higher up side, [personal profile] wolfie74 is about to take me out to Pagoda and there is never any bad in that. *g*

Hope iTunes starts behaving better.

Oh, and Happy Birthday!

Heyyy I'm honestly not trying to be pushy, but I don't know if you saw that I posted a rather ridiculous story for you on camelot_fleet. I sneakily stuck a few of your prompts together and wrote something kind of canon. Anywho. Happy Pie Day!

Hey, I hope I'm not to late in wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :DD Hope it was great and you had a lot of fun... wishing you lots of love, good health and happiness for the coming year. :) *megasquishyhugs*

And oooh, I saw the menu for the place and they have Malaysian food. Heh, but some food covered in satay sauce can't really be representative of all the culinary delights we have over here... but what the heck, it's better than nothing. I love satay, but I'm guessing some people can't eat it over there cause peanut allergy seems to be prevalent in the US. :/

But I see they have durian and honey dew! Oh, I love honey dew juice/smoothies etc. Durian you should try just for the weirdness factor. Heee.

Many happy returns my dear. :)

Nope, still my b-day over here for a few more hours!

Thank you kindly for the good wishes, ma'am!

I'm one of the ones with the pesky peanut allergy, as is Youngest. This place is awesome because there has never been any issues with cross-contamination or anything of any kind. Man, the food is excellent, seriously so. Totally gorged myself on the crispy roast duck and had leftovers for lunch today. Awesomeness. Youngest had a version of shrimp friend rice, and Eldest had these adorable little ribs and anything from anyone else's plate he could get his hands on. *g*

Never tried durian - will have to look it up and see what it is. I've been told to stay away from honey dew because the rind contains a protein shared with peanuts, but I've eaten it by accident before with no issues, so I'm guess it's not the same protein that I have issues with.

Thanks again!

Wow, that is really awesome, with them taking great care in their food preparation. No cross-contamination - they should get a gold star or three for that.

I love fried rice too - boy there's so many variations, you could never get bored. *g* (just to be careful with the cooking oil in case of clogged arteries, she reminds herself)

Ahaha, durian, the king of fruits. You love 'em or you hate 'em. They're spiky, they smell funny and strong, they make your temperature and blood sugar rise. Heee. I'm not really a fan of the fruit itself, but I love the stuff you can make from 'em, like traditional cakes and if take the flesh and stuff 'em in a glass jar for a while, it makes good eating with rice. Yummmm...

Durians are banned from hotels and public transport here. *g* If you could get your hands on the real fruit, try smelling it and you'll know why. Heee.
