Random Post is Random
1) So, I pretty much had written absolutely nothing since Monday night (which is extremely rare for me) until the ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
risingsunpub post last night. Let's hope the angst monkeys have taken a break over the car and such and writing can continue.
2) Apparently, according to my subconscious (at least if my dreams are to believed), in case of a zombie apocalypse, I vote Team Vampire. Who knew?
3) The mods of the kink meme have a new idea for the latest round: focus on the rare pairs. Kinda cool, actually. Unfortunately, some A/M and B/C shippers feel they are being left out, though the mods pointed out there are a ton of past prompts for those pairings that have gone unfulfilled. I think this is one of the few times I've seen wank/fighting in this fandom. On the upside, it's rare?
Here's a helpful link to the unfulfilled prompts over on delicious. Things can be narrowed further by the links on the side. Otherwise, I rather want to see some of the things people come up with for the rare pair meme and see how that turns out.
4) I need to get ready for work. Oh yeah, motivation... I think I had it around here somewhere...

5) The kink meme mods found what they hope is a compromise of running two projects at the same time. Hopefully it will work out and stop some of the wank (er, that sounds wrong to say about a kink meme - stops some of the discontent, maybe?).

One person did a percentage analysis of percent filled of each type of prompt. My argument with their math is that yes, 26% of A/M prompts were filled, and 26% of other prompts were filled (roughly for both), but that's adding *all* other pairings together and lumping them as one (not to mention the fraction of other prompts in comparison to A/M prompts, but I digress). Plus, it's not like A/M is banned, it's just being asked to use some of the old prompts and perhaps in new ways.
Again, I've rarely seen wank in this fandom, at least to this level. I don't quite get it, but then again I never quite got it in other fandoms either.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the theme music for the zombie apocalypse dream was "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga. No, I have no reason why.
