cat_77 | Life and Chocolate

Apologies, again, some more, for another time, for being behind in responding to comments. I was going to catch up, and then RL attacked.

Last week was spent being swamped at work and perhaps going a bit insane between that, a charity drive

drag_on_king and I were heading up, random meetings and more. Made some progress on the

fringeminibang fic, only to get jossed with the season finale (er, it's AU, yeah, that's it!), and poked at a fic for

gwaine_quest with a stick.

Yesterday was spent helping

drag_on_king move and watching Eldest get fawned over for being such a big help (and for his height and reaching tall things, but mostly for the help). We relaxed after by catching up on Doctor Who and forming all sorts of theories as to something that would be a spoiler if you did not watch the episodes.

Today we beyond slept in and relaxed for the most part.

wolfie74 gave me a plaque for Mother's Day that inspired the icon above and made me giggle a lot. Youngest gave me a fabric flower he got while with his grandmother, and Eldest gave me a shy kiss to the head (did I mention he's tall now?) and a grumbled, "Happy Mom's Day, Amma." Aw, tweens...

All in all, a rather nice weekend. Currently curled up with a laptop and kitties and totally about to work on stories and not play online, I swear. Maybe.
