A few weeks back, wolfie74 got me an iPad with select commentary on my somewhat dying netbook. I have been playing around with it a bit, but am having issues with Safari (which comes installed) not recognizing frames in either LJ or Dreamwidth. It is having issues with drop down menus in general as well, especially trying to upload a pic to LJ's gallery.

Does anyone know how to fix or work around this? Because I am rather at a loss.

What sort of issues?
I can't help you with the pic upload item as I do not have an LJ but some specifics will be of assistance. I've never noticed anything odd, other than the usual crap Safari things.

Heh - thanks for the offer. I love that both you and TJ over on LJ both call Safari crap so maybe it's not just me being dim about this.

The main issue(s) appear to be frame related. Drop down boxes do not show the arrow to click on, but will pull up a scrollable list if you click on it. If you fill a dialogue/posting box (like what I am typing in now) beyond one "box" (like for a story), when you go back in to edit something you cannot scroll down to the end of what is in there, you can only see the top box's worth of info. The on-screen keyboard does not provide scrolling arrow keys assuming you will use your finger or a stylus so, aside from hooking up a bluetooth keyboard, I am not sure what to do.
