Obligatory Yuletide Letter
First, thank you for signing up for this awesome exchange. Small fandoms need love too, irregardless of of the genre or canon - if someone likes it, they deserve to squee and share the squee equally. :)
Second, the actual fandoms...
Orphan Black
Adore this show. Clones, secrets, insane cults, evil corporations - what's not to love?
I would like something with Sarah and her immediate family (Fee, Mrs. S, Kira) dealing with the whole mess - how they bond together, but keep the snark and sass levels high. Alternatively, something with Alison and her ways of coping including but not limited to why she has decided to bond with Felix, possibly as the brother she never had.
Honestly, almost anything save for something dealing solely with Sarah and Paul or Cosima and Delphine - they get plenty of love, and that's awesome, but there are so many other cool stories that can be told about everyone else as well. [As a lesbian, I am so not against a canon lesbian relationship on tv. I'd just like to see the more family and bonding aspects than love interests this time around.]
Agents of SHIELD
Yes, it's all tied in with the greater Marvel universe, but it's got its own quirks and tidbits as well.
Personally, I would love something Skye-centric. Any and all other characters are welcomed to share the love as well. Action, drama, anything save for her being some damsel in distress needing to be saved by the big, bad, "real" agents. Bonus points for her being able to handle quite a lot of it on her own. She's not dumb, but she does not have nearly the experience she thinks she has, at least not yet.
Hawkeye (comics)
Huge fan of the Matt Fraction series and that Kate may be younger and have less experience in some things, but she can definitely hold her own in her own right in a great deal of the randomness thrown at her.
So, yeah, something Kate-centric? Maybe she knows more about what's going on with Clint than she lets on and is just waiting for him to share? Maybe she's got her own separate adventure where she's proving herself and why can't he and the other Avengers see that she's what she's capable of (probably because they've got their own drama as usual, but, you know...)? Even a day-in-the-life sort of piece with rich girl antics in the morning turning to saving the day in the afternoon turning to stealing pizza and coffee from Clint at night. Whatever floats your boat, really.
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters
The title alone... I knew I was going to like this movie when they put little ink drawings of the missing kids tied around milk bottles. The camp, the gore, the "seriously, what now?" factor - love.
I'd like something where Gretel has to actually use her White Witch heritage to save the day. Bonus if Hansel actually has some abilities too, either a legacy from their mother or from Mina as a parting gift. They've thought witches are evil for so long so for them to have to cope with having a bit of that within themselves would be awesome.
No incest, please, but siblings kicking ass would rock.
Again, thank you to anyone and everyone who signed up!
