Thoughtcrimes
Thanks to the awesomeness that is
threnodyjones, I have now seen Thoughtcrimes.
It is a surprisingly well-done movie with decent acting from pretty much all involved. I kept wondering why Freya looked so familiar and it turns out the actress, Navi Rawat, played Dana the insane Slayer on Angel. Brendan is, of course, played by Joe Flanigan of SGA fame and though you can see some of the same manerisms, he is playing a completely different character than John Sheppard (and shows he can actually act from time to time). Peter Horton of thirtysomething fame plays the doctor working to get Freya out of her telepathy-induced funk. Most of the rest of the actors and actresses would fill out a scorecard on Canadian Actor Bingo, but do a decent job as well.
Definitely recommend this movie to anyone and everyone even remotely interested in a "sci-fi" movie with a solid premise and storyline (though, does telepathy count as sci-fi anymore?), or to people wanting to see Joe Flanigan outside of SGA.
I am now debating writing either a Thoughtcrimes fic, or a Thoughtcrimes/SGA fic. Yes, I am a sad, sad person.

Here's one of the SGA/Thoughtcrimes crossovers: http://busaikko.livejournal.com/89475.html
Here's another (it's a bit unfinished near the end): http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=2298
That should give you a good start :)
