SG-1 - Small Problems

It's done! It's hosted on my main Storypage, but not yet linked from the index due to some remaining access issues with the laptop I'm still using. Please, if you see any errors or have any problems whatsoever, let me know and I will try to fix them as quickly as possible.

Title: Small Problems

Genre: Gen, Team, Kid Fic, Hurt/Comfort

Rating: High PG-13 due to violence and language.

Length: Just over 80,000 words.

Spoilers/Season: Set shortly after “Fragile Balance”

Synopsis: The team returns from a routine mission with three of the four members physically altered. With their health deteriorating, and factions on Earth after them for their own less than noble means, will they be able to find a cure before it’s too late?

Author’s Notes: I have worked on this story for longer than I am willing to admit. It is extremely long, topping out at over 80,000 words and 172 pages. Also, I am quite frankly terrified of posting it.

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters or universe depicted in this story. I am simply borrowing them to play with and making no profit from my efforts.

Please note, due to the sheer size of this thing, it is being hosted off site at my web page in four parts. If you have any issues accessing these pages, please let me know.

Feedback is not only welcomed, but greatly appreciated.

Whee!!!! I love kidfics, in case you didn't know that already. *bounces off to check it out*

Update: Wheee!!! What a ride! I simply adore your Daniel and Sam, and once Teal'c got started, he was a riot himself! Awesome job, simply awesome.

Thank you so much! Very happy you liked it! I did have fun writing it but was afraid I didn't quite get the kid-a-sized voices right - trying to find a happy medium between still adult, yet giving in to the kidness.

Thank you also for sticking through and reading the whole huge monster. It, er, got a bit long... :)

Nonsense! It never let down, it never dragged, therefore it was exactly the length it needed to be.

That was an absolutely amazing read! Daniel's nightmare was chilling and sad... and so very believable. You wrote this wonderfully! I'm up for a second ready already.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thank you for taking the time to read it! Sorry about the nightmare part - to me it was an incredibly important part of his life that never got brought up again when he returned, and I kind of wanted to explore that. Glad you enjoyed this and glad you stuck through to the end!

No the nightmare part was perfect. The whole descension arc is my favorite part of the show and not nearly enough was done with it. Read this story twice now, really enjoy it. You take that part of Daniel's history and explore away with it. I'll read happily.
