So this little fic gives me my first bingo of the year at [community profile] hc_bingo after more months than strictly needed. The next fic, I started this month, finished this month, and gives me a bingo all on its own. Yep. Sigh.

Title: Head Case
Fandom: Stargate
Rating: PG
Length: ~2,200 words
Spoilers: For SG-1 and SGA as a whole
Synopsis: He knew it was going to take a little more than aspirin to cure this particular headache.
Author's Notes: For the "headaches/migraines" square at [community profile] hc_bingo. Also because I wanted to poke at this particular headcanon of mine.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Also available on AO3.

Title: Mission: Minnesota
Genre: Slash (blink and you'll miss it Daniel/Jack and Janet/Sam)
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~8,400 words
Synopsis: It was a much needed vacation, so of course something had to go horribly wrong. On the run, all alone, and more than slightly freezing, Daniel tries to find a beacon of hope. He finds pie. Family too, but mostly pie.
Author's Notes: For the "unconscious" square at [community profile] hc_bingo. This was originally planned out to be a much longer story with a ton of inside jokes regarding Minnesota, but has been severely chopped down. All places mentioned are real and geographically sound, though the people mentioned are amalgams of various people from far too many times on the shores.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Also available on AO3.

So I found a fic in a supposedly temp folder at work that was about 90% complete when it was abandoned... In 2008. I debated poking at it and wrapping it up and finally had the chance to do so. So, um, yeah, have a random SGA fic? With hints of SG-1 along the way?

Title: Storytime
Genre: Gen, Slightly Cracky
Fandom: SGA, Slight SG-1
Rating: PG
Length: ~1,700 words
Spoilers: Entire Series, Future Fic
Synopsis: History lives on in stories... and other things.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Also available on AO3.

Apparently I have been nominated!

A Difference of Days - Team with a heavy bit of Teyla, written for the [livejournal.com profile] sga_santa exchange.

Five Times Rodney McKay Babysat the Athosians - Rodney-centric with a heavy bit of snark.

Gate Crashing 101 - SGC training with a focus on SG-1 and Daniel's their mishaps.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who liked the stories enough to think of them!

Check out all the stories nominated and (eventually) vote for your favorite at GateFic.com.

So I was cleaning out a temp folder at work and came across this (please ignore the fact I apparently started this nearly three years ago to the day). The original intention was going to be to list far more examples, but I think it works best like this and not as some sort of encyclopedia for the series as a whole.

Title: Gate Crashing 101
Genre: SG-1, Gen
Length: ~ 1,000 words
Rating: PG-13
Spoilers: For the shows only (not the movies).
Synopsis: They have classes on these things.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters or this universe and am making no profit from this.

I just wanted to say thank you to the lovely people who nominated my SG-1 stories for a GateFic Award! You are very sweet and I thank you very much for your kindness.

My site is down, likely permanently, but the three fics are all hosted over at The Alpha Gate:

Bodhisattva - Vala believes she has figured Daniel out.

Prophetiae - "It wasn't just Merlin, was it?" - set after The Shroud.

The Space Between - A conversation between friends. [Set post-Heroes, but with end of series spoilers as well.] This one is also available at LJ.

Thank you again!

The rules did not say they all had to be in one fandom...

Title: Superbly Simple
Genre: Gen, Daniel-centric
Length: 750 words
Rating: PG
Season/Spoilers: Post Season 8
Synopsis: Many suspected Daniel had come back from his latest ascension… changed.
Author’s Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] cliche_bingo entry “superpowers”.
Disclaimer: The Stargate characters and universe belong to people with far more money than me. I am making no profit from this.

Synopsis: Someone brought something home from their last mission.
Author’s Notes: For Stargate Drabbles “Snakes Alive” Challenge. It was going to be a drabble, then a double drabble, then...

So totally not my fault...

Title: Interagency Affairs
Genre: Crossover – Due South/Stargate SG-1
Pairing: J/D, D/B, B/R, ?
Rating: PG-13 – I kept it clean!
Length: ~1500
Synopsis: Two groups investigating the same crime discover they have something in common.
Author’s Notes: Trying to prove to [livejournal.com profile] threnodyjones that Due South/SG-1 fic is possible, though most likely crack, I came up with this... Also, just in time for [livejournal.com profile] sg_prompts' Crossover Fest!

Title: Ordinary Extraordinary
Genre: Gen, Friendship
Rating: PG
Length: About 3,500 words
Synopsis: It’s going to be a peaceful, relaxing mission where nothing goes terribly wrong. No, really it is.
Author’s Notes: For Bab’s challenge – Whump Daniel or Jack offworld with an ordinary object and have someone use another ordinary object to save them. This ended up a bit different than I originally intended, but I hope this suffices.
Disclaimer: I do not own them, people with a lot of money do. I am only borrowing them to play and making no profit from this.

It's done! It's hosted on my main Storypage, but not yet linked from the index due to some remaining access issues with the laptop I'm still using. Please, if you see any errors or have any problems whatsoever, let me know and I will try to fix them as quickly as possible.

Title: Small Problems

Genre: Gen, Team, Kid Fic, Hurt/Comfort

Rating: High PG-13 due to violence and language.

Length: Just over 80,000 words.

Spoilers/Season: Set shortly after “Fragile Balance”

Synopsis: The team returns from a routine mission with three of the four members physically altered. With their health deteriorating, and factions on Earth after them for their own less than noble means, will they be able to find a cure before it’s too late?

Author’s Notes: I have worked on this story for longer than I am willing to admit. It is extremely long, topping out at over 80,000 words and 172 pages. Also, I am quite frankly terrified of posting it.

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters or universe depicted in this story. I am simply borrowing them to play with and making no profit from my efforts.

Please note, due to the sheer size of this thing, it is being hosted off site at my web page in four parts. If you have any issues accessing these pages, please let me know.

Feedback is not only welcomed, but greatly appreciated.

It's that time of the year again but, unfortunately, I've been too busy with work and with working on my original stuff to really get much fanfic down lately. I the interest of full disclosure, this was originally posted on my site two years ago, so it may or may not seem familiar to a couple of you. It's never been posted on LJ though, before now.

Title: Traditions
Genre: SG-1, Gen
Rating: PG
Spoilers: Any season where Jack’s a Colonel, Sam’s a Major, Daniel’s alive, and the team is together.
Synopsis: Sometimes things go right. Sort of a response to a “Holiday Traditions” challenge.
Author’s Notes: This was previously posted on my page and Alphagate, but never here on LJ.

Title: Secrets
Genre: SG-1, Team, Gen

The 2007 Stargate Fan Awards are up and running. I have been nominated for a couple of things:

Mine Enemy
Gen/Team/Episode Based
This takes place immediately following the episode "Enemy Mine". Some people were less than happy with Daniel's solution to the problem. I guess it's technically a bit of an AU now because, at the time I wrote it, I wasn't watching Atlantis that much, and had absolutely no idea who Lorne was.

Teamwork
Gen/Team/Hurt Comfort
The team is there to help with Daniel's latest battle.

The Mitten Song and Other Dirges
Gen/Team/Humor
Daniel has been downsized. This is never a good thing.

Thank you very much to whoever nominated me!

There are tons of great fics that have been nominated. Go. Indulge. Read. Vote. You will need to log in to the site to vote, but that's mainly to keep things on the up and up.

So... Anyone else kinda giggle at the fact a teenager from Cheyenne Mountain High School placed second (by only 0.17 points) in the US Figure Skating Championships held in Saint Paul, MN?

Yeah, I'm a geek. Also, for the Alphagate group, if we post too many off topic posts, we tend to write "Alphagrams" - short little tidbits of stories and such. I may have possibly went off topic more than once this week. As such, I wrote the following:

Title: Worth It
Genre: SG-1, Jack/Daniel, fluff
Season/Spoilers: Long past the end of the series
Rating: PG
Synopsis: Too short for one
Disclaimer: I don't own them, people with a lot of money do. I'm just borrowing them to play and making no money from this.
