Bones, Again

So we have now watched a couple more episodes of Bones. Target even had season one on sale for like $17, so I picked that up and we watched the pilot and the next episode. It was surprisingly well written, even from the beginning. After seeing a couple of the later episodes, you can see how the relationships between the characters develop as well, and they really do seem like a natural progression. Still don't think Bones and Booth belong together as a couple, but they do have a sort of protective chemistry about them.

E asked me about fan fic for the show, of which I have seen exactly none. Anyone have any recs? Start with Gen and work our way up through the pairings 'til we find one that works for us and happen to have decent authors?

So far, she's thinking the assistant (the one that does the faces and the holo-modeling stuff) and Bones are cute together, though she also keeps calling out random other pairing for passing characters. :)

See, I didn't watch for ages. He can't act I thought, she's awful I sniped. I was sick, and in bed, I watched it. Child no1 bought the DVD's. I was wrong...he can act, and she is charming.

They have an odd sort of chemistry together, right from the beginning. I still don't buy the shipping of the two of them, but I'm a hard sell on het. Both he and her assistant are so protective of her, but he comes across more of a 'big brother looking out for little sister' sort of way.
