We are not amused...

This is what happens when I a) get ticked off, b) get an idea, and c) have far too much time to play around with it.

Explanation:
Came across a fic this afternoon that bashed Gwen (figuratively, not in a hurt/comfort kind of way) to allow Merlin and Arthur to be together even though we all know she's only a threat to any pairing involving Morgana *g*. I could not tell if this was better or worse than the times she's written as either incredibly out of character, or just shoved to the background like a piece of wallpaper. Thus, the image(s).

Edit: Original image from Merlin's Keep

Oh, so pretty bb! I love how three-dimensional she is in between the two outline versions.

ITA about the bashing - I hate it when it happens to any character, but especially when it's about shipping. Had hoped Merlin fandom would mostly stay away from that. If SGA slashers could (mostly) do it, why can't we?

Btw, the postcard thing is live, in case you were one of the people interested.

I saw that fic. *rolls eyes* I didn't click on it, although I sincerely thought about saying something very snide to the author.

I can't see them. :-(
Is it something on my end?

Oh, now they're working fine. Feh, maybe the page didn't finish loading.

I like! It's something that bothers me, Gwen getting backgrounded - not just in fic, but in how a lot of the series is shot. Anyway, I think this will be my new desktop wallpaper! *g*

Niiice. Angel is really, really lovely. Sometimes she tilts her head just so, and I am reminded of Rachel Luttrel. I'm so lucky to have fandoms with lovely women in it. *g*

She's beautiful, and seems like such a nice person in all the interviews I've seen - she so does not deserve some of the crap people give her and her character.

I love being in fandoms with strong and awesome women in them. Really wish other people could deal with them though.

Oh, hey, in case it doesn't hit the lists you are on, there's a postcard project (http://camelot-fleet.dreamwidth.org/20637.html) going on, mainly based out of Image (http://camelot-fleet.dreamwidth.org/profile)camelot_fleet (http://camelot-fleet.dreamwidth.org/) to tell the actresses how awesome they are, if you are interested.

Oh, thanks for telling me! Those girls deserves heaps of flowers! I'm not sure if my card could make it in time... but better late than never, right? *g*

Re: Angel, if she were older I'd totally have a crush on her. *g* And I am so totally jealous that she gets to snog Bradley, daaaannng. (I'm hoping series 3 won't make the characters too unrecognizable :/)

E wants to pick up at least one with the ladyslipper on it since that's our state flower, and possibly mention something about how, much like the "family" (OT4) on Merlin, our family is a mix of not-so-white and Irish. *g*

I don't know what it is about the actors on this show - maybe it's the fact there's so much behind the scenes stuff that you get to see more of their real personalities and such - but they are mighty easy to like, aren't they?

Yeah, they are soooo easy to love. Partly I think because they are young and unjaded (is so a word). And partly cause actors are filming behind the scenes stuff themselves and putting more of themselves 'out there' (hi Bradley & Colin!) Not to mention those fans who share everything down to the minute detail whenever they meet the actors. Not that I'm complaining. *g*

Hm, makes all those dvd extras on my previous, older fandoms all the more precious...
