Finish-a-thon Check

So I thought the fic might top out at about 21K. Er, I'm there now. Well, technically I'm at 20,936 words, but, you know, close enough.

I'm also pleased to note that I avoided my usual cliche of having a nightmare scene. Kind of. Hints that sleep was not restful, but no full out, horrifically detailed drama scene. *is proud* (Hey, given my past history, this is HUGE. *g*)

Also? Leon is kind of fun to write.

Running away again.

Edit: Okay, at 21,395 and might possibly be ready for an epilogue. Maybe.

Edit the 2nd: Holy crap, I might have a draft. 22,330 words.

Thanks for the enthusiasm! I still have to read through the whole thing to see if it even makes *sense* together (the problems of writing in sections in different places at different times), before I send it off to beta.

I'm almost afraid that the "epilogue" will wrap things up too quickly, but pretty much everything else that needs to be said has been said already. I guess we'll have to see, huh? :/

Went through and edited after the epilogue. I know I deleted a lot, but it somehow ended up about 300 words longer than before. Go fig. Still waiting to hear if one of my betas is up for something this big.

Lol! That totally happens to me too, especially with papers. I take out a good chunk, add stuff in and it ends up longer than before. :D
