Finally watched the Doctor Who episode "Night Terrors." No spoilers for the episode, other than to ask if anyone else caught the Merlin reference?

Completely in the backround when the guy is flipping through the channels, you clearly hear Bradley James' voice as Arthur say something that sounds like "next" followed by the long drawn out "Merlin..." the way only Arthur ever does.

We giggled. A lot.

So who's your favourite Doctor? Is this new guy worth the long torrent dl? Are the new companions worth it too? Heheh.

Okay, so I honestly did not think I would like Matt Smith as the Doctor, really and truly. And then he came on the scene and was just so... right. And there is about a 99% chance you will like Amy Pond, his main companion. Redheaded Scottish chick with attitude and legs about fourteen miles long. The other occasional companion is her boyfriend/eventual husband Rory, who both plays the straight man to their antics and is awesome in and of himself. The final occasional companion is River Song from the Silence in the Library episode. She's... complicated, but awesome.

I think the thing that makes this incarnation work is that the actress who plays Amy and the actor who plays the Doctor just click just right. The guy who plays Rory slides in well and, with few exceptions, the trio just works.

The final line of the finale is an awful pun though.
