Fringe!

So we have been watching Fringe on Sundays more than the new Friday night lineup due to scheduling with the kidlings. Watched the latest episode last night and am now at what I guess you call a quandary.

I signed up for the Fringe Mini Bang (like a Big Bang, only a bit smaller) with a plot idea in mind. The show has now gone that route itself, but with a tiny twist I actually was not sure was going to happen or not.

The fic minimum is only 10K words. I have several months. Do I wait to see how it plays out in canon and adjust my original idea, tweaking it a bit and taking notes as the episodes air, or do I do a straight up AU from [X] episode instead?

I’m honestly not sure. Maybe I should just concentrate on the camelot_fleet Finish-a-thon things for now? It would also give time for more canon to work with if necessary.
