Daydreams of the Original Team
This was brought up on a list I am on: What do you think the original team members daydream about?
This is what I came up with. I'd say these dreams are all set somewhere before season 8ish. Surprisingly, there may be some mild slash content. Figured I would warn you in case it offends your eyes.

Daydreams of the Original Team...
Jack -
The one he will admit to, albeit reluctantly, is relatively simple. He thinks about fishing. He's sitting on the dock at his cabin, surrounded by his team. The Goa'uld are defeated and no big bad has come to take their place, so they are just sitting and relaxing and knowing no one and nothing is about to interrupt them. There's some cold beer in a cooler at the side and some burgers, hotdogs, and brats grilling on one grill, and the huge walleye he caught grilling on another. All of his friends from all of his years are just hanging out on the lawn, chatting, eating, and drinking. Some have started up a game of catch, and he's inordinately pleased that Rya'c and Charlie are getting along so well.
The one he won't admit to involves the night after the party, the old four-poster bed in the cabin, Daniel, and some chocolate sauce.
Sam -
She daydreams about finally perfecting her naquada generator and presenting it to the world as a viable energy option with little to no pollution. She maintains the patent and is set for life. After the press tour, she buys a relatively secluded rambling house near enough to the mountain that she can be called in if necessary, but far enough away for some privacy. The Goa'uld are defeated, but the research and exploration options now available are endless. Cassie is attending a prestigious medical university, and both she and Janet have never been so proud.
Teal'c -
He dreams of the days after the false gods are gone and the Jaffa are free. They are a self-governing, autonomic group of people, aiding those they once enslaved finally having a chance to express themselves however they wish to. He takes Drey'auc and Rya'c to the house that he grew up in, now rebuilt and bearing none of the brands of the shol'va on its sides. Bra'tac is there, as are his mother and father. If he looks closely, Shaun'ac is standing proudly as one of the former high-priestesses now teaching the children of the Jaffa, and their children too, about the rich history of their people, how far they came, and how far they have yet to go if they set their minds to it.
Daniel -
He dreams of the days after the Stargate program goes public, when people are using the 'gate for every day travel to study and document all of the unique cultures out there in this wide galaxy. No military escorts are needed as no intergalactic threat remains, allowing scientists and scholars as much time as needed to study both the ruins and the people they encounter. He presents his findings and theories on the pyramids, with all of the evidence backing him up that he was right all along, to a crowd of the same original skeptics (now surprisingly accepting) and fresh new faces waiting to take his work on build upon it. Jack is at his side the whole time, the ridiculous "don't ask/don't tell" rule being dropped with the enlightened new government. The only thing that confuses him is why, in the back row of the lecture hall, standing next to a peevish Steven Raynor, is a man who looks surprisingly like E. A. Wallis Budge.
That's the one he tells his team. The one he shares only with Jack involves finding a quiet place of their own and spending long hours in that comfortable bed from the cabin with nothing but the two of them, a gentle breeze from the window, and an unlimited supply of chocolate.
