berlinghoff79’s icon and came up with this sugary piece of smarm. I'd say blame the chocolate, but I haven't had nearly enough today.

John looked down at the scrap of paper he held in his hand. The edges were lined with remnants of diagrams and equations, but it was what was in the center that really caught his attention. “Poetry?” he asked in both awe and horror. “You wrote me poetry?”
“Yes, well, um, you weren’t exactly supposed to see that,” Rodney hemmed and hawed. He moved to snatch the scrap back, but found it just out of his reach.
“Puddlejumper? ZedPM?” John read questioningly.
“It... we... just kind of fit,” Rodney muttered.
Arms wrapped around his lover, John agreed, “Yeah, we do.”
