I still exist! I... just don't exist here on this specific platform very often.

I've been concentrating on writing my original stuff, but stalled out a bit right around the time HC Bingo came around for the year, so you can see what happened there. Eventually, though, I realized I was using those stories to stall from what I really should have been working on. So, here is everything that was pending (which constitutes a bingo, btw) in hopes it gets my ass in gear again:

Title: A Present from the Past
Fandom: MCU
Pairing: Bucky Barnes/Darcy Lewis
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~3,050 words
Synopsis: Darcy’s past comes to try to bite her in the ass. She bites back.
Author’s Notes: For the “blackmail” entry at hc_bingo.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Available on AO3.

Title: Close Enough
Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~1,940 words
Warnings: Aftermath of torture, injury.
Synopsis: The bad guys didn’t get what they wanted and the good guys were finally there. He wasn’t home yet, but he was pretty damn close.
Author’s Notes: For the “torture” entry at hc_bingo.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Available on AO3.

Title: One of Their Own
Fandom: Xena
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~11,000 words
Synopsis: Gabrielle faces an upstart young Amazonian challenger, and gets far more than she originally bargained for.
Author’s Notes: For the “poison” entry at hc_bingo. Its been a long time since I’ve played in this particular sandbox.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Available on AO3.

Title: Safe and Soundless
Fandom: Merlin
Pairing: Arthur/Merlin
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~7,300 words
Synopsis: Set in a dystopian, cyber-punk future, with echoes of the past, Arthur is forced to leave an injured Merlin behind. The ensuing rescue reveals a little more than he expected.
Author’s Notes: For the “loss of hearing” entry at hc_bingo.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Available on AO3.

Title: Domo Arigato
Fandom: Shadowhunters
Pairing: Alec/Magnus, Izzy/Simon, Clary/Jace
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~3,500 words
Timeline: Post-Series
Synopsis: The problem with modern tech is that it gave the demons so many more opportunities, if they knew how to take them.
Author’s Notes: For the “robots/androids/AI” entry at hc_bingo.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Available on AO3.

It's time for the 2016 Roll Call post. Did a fraction of what I used to in the days of old, but whatever - that 85K one totally makes up for it, right? Also only got one bingo over at [community profile] hc_bingo since there is no way I'm finishing one that answers five separate prompts in time.

So, grouping these by fandom, as one does apparently...

Lucifer 1 fic )

Marvel 10 fics )

Merlin 1 fic )

Stargate: Atlantis 1 fic )

Stranger Things 1 fic )

Not too bad.

Now to getting around to finishing that one and posting the one that's pretty much been done for ages but I totally forgot to post.

Title: Blue
Genre: Gen, Friendship
Rating: PG
Length: ~800 words
Synopsis: It's more than just the sky.
Author's Notes I needed a break and asked for prompts. The lovely [personal profile] emeraldteal was kind enough to give me one: blue skies.

So this little fic gives me my first bingo of the year at [community profile] hc_bingo after more months than strictly needed. The next fic, I started this month, finished this month, and gives me a bingo all on its own. Yep. Sigh.

Title: Head Case
Fandom: Stargate
Rating: PG
Length: ~2,200 words
Spoilers: For SG-1 and SGA as a whole
Synopsis: He knew it was going to take a little more than aspirin to cure this particular headache.
Author's Notes: For the "headaches/migraines" square at [community profile] hc_bingo. Also because I wanted to poke at this particular headcanon of mine.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Length: ~11,400 words
Synopsis: An emergency evacuation and an EM pulse leave a cobbled together team stranded, injured, and awaiting rescue.
Author's Notes: For the "shipwrecked" square at [community profile] hc_bingo. Also, if you do not know the awesome that is Miko Kusanagi, you might think her hints at past experiences to be a little Mary Sue-ish.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and am making no profit from this.

Also available on AO3.

So I found a fic in a supposedly temp folder at work that was about 90% complete when it was abandoned... In 2008. I debated poking at it and wrapping it up and finally had the chance to do so. So, um, yeah, have a random SGA fic? With hints of SG-1 along the way?

Title: Storytime
Genre: Gen, Slightly Cracky
Fandom: SGA, Slight SG-1
Rating: PG
Length: ~1,700 words
Spoilers: Entire Series, Future Fic
Synopsis: History lives on in stories... and other things.

Going to attempt to upload some things to AO3 this afternoon, starting with the SGA "Left Behind" series. I've never uploaded a series before, so this should be interesting in the Irish sense of the word, especially since the original files are locked on a dead computer, so I'm copy/pasting from LJ.

If it doesn't piss me off too much, I'll try the "Gate Ministry" series next.

Update:
Entirety of the Left Behind series (so far) is posted.

Entirety of the Gate Ministry series (minus one) is posted.

Yeah, I can already tell you I am not going to top the past few years’ of 70-something. The combo of the move, the shoulder, the sick, and the stress from not knowing if I was still going to be employed (hint: I am) took its toll.

So, without further ado...

Merlin )

Sherlock (BBC) )

Fringe )

Stargate: Atlantis )

Highlander )

In Plain Sight )

Yuletide – not actually listed )

It looks like 41 this year (counting the crossovers only once). Still have the [livejournal.com profile] merlinreversebang one to finish and post, and have a couple other ones pending, but there is no way they will be done in the next six hours, so that’s it for 2011!

Apparently I have been nominated!

A Difference of Days - Team with a heavy bit of Teyla, written for the [livejournal.com profile] sga_santa exchange.

Five Times Rodney McKay Babysat the Athosians - Rodney-centric with a heavy bit of snark.

Gate Crashing 101 - SGC training with a focus on SG-1 and Daniel's their mishaps.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who liked the stories enough to think of them!

Check out all the stories nominated and (eventually) vote for your favorite at GateFic.com.

March 5th is a very important day in history. Not only did I sign my soul away to The Company ten years ago today (they promise me ice cream and a "sturdy and hopefully not dead plant" next week for it), but the most awesome [personal profile] emeraldteal was born! (Er, that would be more than ten years ago, but let's not embarrass her with details.)

Happy Birthday Sweetie!!!

In honor of your special day, here, have some crack:

Title: Once and Future
Genre: Crossover, SGA/Merlin, Gen
Spoilers: For Arthurian myths and general SGA characters only
Rating: PG
Length: 1,000 words
Synopsis: They have been entrusted with a gift... that will likely go horribly wrong.
Author’s Notes: For the most awesome [personal profile] emeraldteal and her b-day of doom. No, this is not the SGA/Merlin story I originally promised and kept putting on the back burner, but something cracky and fluffy instead. The other one is not dead – I SWEAR.

[livejournal.com profile] sga_santa has posted the Master List of Fics for this season's run. I'm taking that as permission to reveal which one I wrote (it's at the top of the list anyway, labeled neatly and everything *g*).

Title: A Difference of Days
Genre: Gen, Team, OT4 if you squint that way
Rating: PG-13
Length: ~ 4,280 words
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] sci8fi who wanted Team Gen, Friendship, Teyla-centric, and/or hurt/comfort. Hopefully this will suffice.
Synopsis: Some days are not as good as others, and some days are better.
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters and this is solely not-for-profit.

The post itself has not been updated with the reveal, though I truly cannot remember if they even do that. Plus, you know, the poor mods have all those stories to code and keep track of - give them a break! They did an awesome job arranging and organizing this thing.

So I was filling out my submission for [livejournal.com profile] sga_santa and had it all nice and neat and then I got a really bad idea to request only one thing and then I thought I really could not bring myself to force someone else to write this (despite what [livejournal.com profile] threnodyjones suggested), so I did it myself.

Title: Administration
Genre: Slash, slightly cracky, Ronon/Woolsey, background Sheppard/McKay
Rating: PG-13
Length: 1,005 words (I’m sorry?)
Season/Spoilers: Season 5
Summary: John happens across something he should not see.
Author’s Notes: I am sorry. It seemed funny at the time. I really am sorry. I’m also not sure whether this should be classified as a “rare pairing” or “needs brain bleach” entry.
Disclaimer: Not mine, the characters and such belong to people with far more money than me. I am making no profit from this.

Synopsis: Stranded far from the Gate on a planet far from home, the team must find a way back. [See, I even made it sound serious...]
Author’s Notes: For the [livejournal.com profile] cliche_bingo entry “crossover: books/literary” – I chose SGA crossed with “The Little Engine That Could.” It so counts. *nods*
Disclaimer: Not mine, they belong to people with far more money than me. I’m just borrowing them to play and making no profit from this.

Okay, so I totally had another fic for this entry written out. Same pairing, bit different take on it. Ended up liking the flow of this one a bit more, as did the people who read it through. May eventually post the other some day, but it's rather similar in theme to this one, so possibly not.

I'm also going to try hiding the pairing in the summary - doing the thing where you highlight it to read it. It works under my journal formatting, but please let me know if it doesn't work elsewhere.

Title: Adoration
Length: ~ 610 words
Pairing: Ronon/Spoiler – highlight to see Ronon/His Knife
Rating: PG-13
Synopsis: The ritual brought him completion.
Author’s Notes: For the [livejournal.com profile] cliche_bingo entry “rare pairings”

Okay, so this is me finally posting an entry for the "kidfic" square on my [livejournal.com profile] cliche_bingo card. Full disclosure: I had three separate stories started and stopped for this one before I finally got around to finishing this one. I might get around to finishing the others some day, but want to get a few more squares filled first.

Title: Five Times Rodney McKay Babysat the Athosians
Length: ~ 1,200 words
Rating: PG
Spoilers/Season: None, really, if you’ve seen the show.
Synopsis: The amazing thing was, they kept asking him to do it.
Author’s Notes: For the [livejournal.com profile] cliche_bingo entry “kidfic”
Disclaimer: Not mine, people with a lot of money own them. I’m just borrowing them to play and making no profit from this.

Genre: SGA, bit of Buffy
Rating: PG-13 (mild violence)
Length: ~ 3,200 words
Season/Spoilers: General post-Season 2 for SGA, post-Season 5 for BtVS
Synopsis: The team gates to a world with a slightly different Slayer and Master, but some things are definitely familiar.
Author’s Notes: For the [livejournal.com profile] cliche_bingo entry “supernatural/vampire AU” – please note the AU part as things aren’t quite canon.
