Going to attempt to upload some things to AO3 this afternoon, starting with the SGA "Left Behind" series. I've never uploaded a series before, so this should be interesting in the Irish sense of the word, especially since the original files are locked on a dead computer, so I'm copy/pasting from LJ.

If it doesn't piss me off too much, I'll try the "Gate Ministry" series next.

Go check out [livejournal.com profile] lifevolutionary's new artwork. The casts of both SGA and SG-1 as genderfucked. Very cool. Her Jen and Mer are pretty much perfect representations of Jill and Mer in the Gate Ministry series. Awesome.

Okay, so it’s a week later than I thought it would be, and several pages longer, but it didn’t turn out as depressing as I originally had planned, so does that count?  Mer and Jill are back (because they really are fun to write).

The following are three little snippets from the Jill/Mer universe.  The first two are related to the first story, Alternate Oddities, and the final one may or may not blow up into something bigger someday.  There is another, far more serious fic I am working on and hope to have done by the weekend.  We’ll see how that works out…

New Story Ideas and Such

Today has been a long, relatively quiet day of being snowed in, reading LJ and writing fic.  I also made a shiny new icon for my Mer and Jill stories.  Yep, plural.  I know a lot of people didn't like the first one, but I had a blast and got hit with a new idea or three.  There's just so much you can do with Sheppard and McKay, whether they are male or female.  

Anyway, I'm hoping someone somewhere is at least partially entertained by the Gate Ministry universe.  If not, oh well 'cause I am.

[For those who have no idea what I'm talking about and actually care, the universe can be summed up as:  Everyone from Earth is genderswitched and everyone from Pegasus stays the same.]
